INSTALL SITECORE 9 UPDATE 1 WITH SIF FOR LAZY DEV’S

Sitecore 9 Update-1 came out so I decided it to have another go. I have gone through several Community tools and blog posts for helping with installing Sitecore 9 and think the approach outlined here is pretty quick and fairly simple.

It’s worth noting an alternative way to do this is to use Sif-less which uses SIF under the hood to install Sitecore but with a nice UI. However I decided to go with the standard Power shell install instead this time round.

I have installed Sitecore 9 successfully after lot of trials. While exploring the feature, I have seen  Experience Analytics Dashboard showing errors as below.

customer and order manager issue – Invalid private key index value or value not specified in the connection string.

Recently, I have installed SCpbCS 8.1 with Reference Storefront  and everything working fine. I am able to create users and orders through site successfully. I received following error when trying to see the profile information from Customer and Orders Manager business tool.

Multiple Content Editors work from multiple regions, and they will work on the content changes of their own language version of the site.Currently, they don’t have an option to set their own content language preference.
